    Shabnam Rafique published : Assallaam u alaikum I am a Muslimah from the UK and am looking to connect with other Muslims and Muslimahs outside my local community.

    I hope to meet some valuable brothers and sisters in Islam during my journey of perfecting my faith.

    At the moment I am struggling a little; because I seem to be unwittingly clashing with fanatical ways of thinking and ignorance within the local community.

    My viewpoint on my faith is very different; I have had to teach myself about my own Faith and as a result found out about the diversity of the Islamic faith and Global Islamic community; practically on my own during my childhood.

    At the moment I am struggling with prayers and keeping up my routines in an adverse situation.
