    I am 36 years and I am hoping, insha Allah, get married ASAP. I have never been married before nor do I have children. I have being living the UK since 2007. I am originally from Nigeria. I have just completed an MA Global Political Economy. My knowledge of Islam, historically, is very vast. However, my Islamic practice of the religion, is neither weak nor strong compared to my siblings. I believe, I can do better than I am doing now, if I am in the right company of pious people. I am hoping my potential partner, would be very strict with me as to encourage me to be steady fast. I am very fair, very loyal, monogamy man (because I dont think any man in his right mind can fulfill the four conditions that Allah (SWT) had set out. Also, I have seen what my Mum went through after my dad's death. I will not wish that for my future wife or even any woman). I take the point of the last sermon of Prophet Muhammad(SAW) very seriously, especially in the way I see women or will treat my would - be wife: 'O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under Allah’s trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste.' 

    In this regards, I will treat my 'partner' and 'committed helper' with a 50/50 partnership and mutuality respect reciprocity. 

    Most importantly for me, Quran 49:13:'O mankind! Lo! We have created you male and female, and have made you nations and tribes that ye may know one another. Lo! the noblest of you, in the sight of Allah, is the best in conduct. Lo! Allah is Knower, Aware.' I believe this urge Allah has given is a Sunnah that we, Muslim must live up to exhibit diversity and multiculuralism of Islam, which Allah has backed with the first command He gave the Prophet (SAW), 'Iqrah'; must be a continuum desire to seek knowledge to better humanity. I believe that my marriage to a woman, that I will grow to love and grow to love me too, from a different culture is very essential for my Islamic openmindness to other culture, but yet bind together by the love for Islam. In this regards, I will prefer a sister from other culture outside Africa or out Nigeria.I am 5.4Ft tall, chubby and slightly athletic and have an Afro hair style. 

    I am very romantic person and indoor oriented and moderate outdoor person. I like having fun and love cooking, especially for friends. I eat anything halal and I dont eat anything that is not Halal or course self destruction (eg smoking and drinking).
